About the PPSA - Port of Plymouth Sailing Association

PPSA aims:

The Association aims to coordinate, support, encourage, and promote all sailing activities taking place in the Port of Plymouth and its neighboring regions.

The objectives of the PPSA are:

To protect the interests of all who sail in the Port of Plymouth and its surrounding areas while striving to enhance available facilities.
To represent all affiliated member organisations as needed.
To promote the Port of Plymouth as a premier venue for dinghy and yacht championships and other significant sailing events.
To organise and oversee the Port of Plymouth Dinghy and Yacht Regattas.
To coordinate and produce the annual sailing program for the Port of Plymouth and surrounding areas
To mediate between individual clubs to resolve any arising conflicts.
To support and monitor race management training, including the training of race officers, mark layers, and judges.
To establish and communicate handicaps for use in the Port of Plymouth and the surrounding areas
